"New-Method" No. 48

We introduce the email bulletin "New-Method" with our works and guest contributions.  This issue No. 48 features Yuhei Saito for the contributor, whose various activities include paintings, event organizing, sound recordings, live performances and the likes.

New-Method Through Life
Yuhei Saito

I'm no so much interested in various activities of New-Method because they just continue pointless things based on their tautological manifestos.
I don't carefully read their email bulletins either, except checking works by Shogo Baba, so I had to study contributions in back numbers and interview with them by email to come up with what I can write.
That said, I'm interested in how (and whether or not) their activities and statements, seen as a movement, would have some critical functions in relation to many other movements.
But I wouldn't fully discuss it now.
Let's say, such critical roles may not be that important for themselves if they exist just to practice tautologies.
Their activities tend to be biased, apparently following contemporary topics or pleasurable things, though it would be superficial to point it out.
However, it it also true that this theoretically trivial tendency has actually motivated their practices.
They do enjoy what they do and discuss in the group, and some people (fans, rather than audience) feel sympathy with their having fun.
While maintaining tautology as their explanatory instrument, they keep making waves among people and invoking reactions, which I think is clever of them as well as a boring factor.
I hope they continue it through life, be it New-Method or eventually New-New-Method, as the rail extends forever.

Binary Data Display No. 3

http://7x7whitebell.net/new-method/shogobaba/048_e.html

This work displays hexadecimal (base 16) values of the binary data of the web page of my web work "Binary Data Display No.1."
This work indicates a paradox that data amount is bound to increase adversely by using the binary format to display the binary data visualized for the human eye.

The prime factors of the height of Mount Tsurugi

http://masarukaido.com/newmethod/b048_e.html

I worked out the prime factors of the height of Mount Tsurugi, known for its challenging environments and being the second highest in Japan next to Mount Fuji.  I printed out the numbers and framed the print, then I threw it away.
